Non – stop beats, rocking performance, 15 minutes of absolute mesmerized and awestruck audience. This was the charisma of our determined Woodlanders who rocked and shocked the whole world by winning the first position in Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod at North Wales, England 2012. The high voltage performance left the pavilion resounding with huge applause. It was the first time that children staged on an International platform and left an indelible imprint on those people who have been participating since years. The history created by Woodlanders is marked in golden forever. The festival which stages more than 5000 performers from across the globe is a unique event combining competition, performance, international peace and friendship. The one of its kind where the Woodlanders shared the stage with professionals in front of audience of 5000 people.
It was not only a proud moment for the school or the state but for the whole country as the children went as representatives of India and kept the flag high by winning the competition.
All thanks to the farsighted Managing Trustee Mr. Mandeep Singh and extremely assiduous Principal Ms. Simerjeet Kaur for their concern support and “Never Say Die” attitude which motivates everyone to face challenges and emerge as winners.
