As a part of exploring the world culture and inculcating the values of tolerance among the young ones, Christmas was celebrated in Woodland Overseas School on Tuesday, 18th December 2018. The entire school reverberated with the melody of Christmas carols and was tastefully decorated rendering the air festive.
The programme began with a welcome speech followed by the rejuvenating and star studded performances of the articulate Woodlanders who stepped on the stage in their colourful costumes, dresses as fairies, elves, santas and danced to the vibrant tunes depicting the happiness of the universe.
An excellent English play was also enacted highlighting the spirit of Christmas and the birth and sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the sake of community. They emphasized the importance of caring and sharing and spreading happiness all around.
The real show stealer were the Santas of Woodlands dressed in red and white carrying bags full of goodies.
The delight of the spectators was uncontained as they cheered with their smiles and hence multiplied the splendor of the celebration.
The presence of our insightful Principal Ms. Puja Dhiman made the milieu blissful who later appreciated the wonderful performances put up by the students.
Riding over every other emotion a wave of joy and pleasure enveloped the school surroundings spreading a message of faith, happiness and peace.
“May this Christmas dazzle the moments with love, laughter and joy”!!!
