It is the spark that lights a fire of joy in one’s soul. Living in a state of gratitude is the gateway of grace. The gift of thankfulness, which is the greatest of all the virtues is priceless. Feeling grateful is the sign of noble souls and presents the most exquisite form of courtesy.
In almost all the relations of ordinary life, the feeling of gratitude should be aroused. For exposing our Woodlanders to sincere appreciation towards their surroundings, Woodland Overseas School proudly announces the celebration of Gratitude Day on Wednesday, 20th Feb.’19 and Thursday, 21st Feb.’19, to acknowledge the genuine efforts of helpers, teachers and administrative staff who act as a bridge from their present to their bright future.
Considering our talented Woodlanders, the thanks giving days are categorized into below mentioned events –
Day -1 Wednesday, 20th February 2019
THANKING ALMIGHTY GOD :
“Gratitude turns what we have into enough”. In order to thank God for blessing us with wonderful things and people, students can bring related stickers/pictures/cutout from old newspaper, magazine of toys, clothes, food, school, family etc. on Thursday, 14th February 2019.
Day -2 Thursday, 21st February 2019
ENJOYING POTLUCK (MUNCHING MOMENTS) :
Students can bring eatables for sharing with their buddies during the recess (Avoid sending junk food).
GRATITUDE MESSAGE :
Students can express gratitude towards the school helpers and administrative staff by writing thanks giving quotes on colourful stars, flowers, trophies etc. and bring to school on Wednesday, 20th February 2019. For eg. :
1. I thank my school helpers etc. for……
