“Children are the best creations of God. Spreading joy, longing for bounteous showers of love, care and bubbling up in the realms of imagination.”
The scintillating morning of Wednesday, 13th November 2019 witnessed a fun filled and gleeful celebration of Children’s Day in the assembly ground of Woodland Overseas School. The day kicked off by commemorating the very notion behind the grand celebration of the event and later progressed to the splendid enactments and performances put up by the teachers celebrating the spirit of childhood. The teachers decked up in beautiful and bubbly outfits enacted superfluously in front of the children spreading them lovely messages. The humorous skits left the students in bouts of laughter as they enjoyed watching their teachers.
Magnificent dances and songs were sung giving the students a sumptuous visual feast and a perfect musical ambiance. The students applauded and were overwhelmed. Towards the end, adding the colour to the occasion our vivacious Principal, Ms. Puja Dhiman apprised the students of the life and work of the first Prime Minister of India Dr. Jawahar Lal Nehru and of his endless love and affection for the children. She urged the students to enjoy their childhood to the fullest and spread peace and happiness around. It was a day happily spent and the children went back home with bundles of memories to be cherished.
Have a hip – hop – happy – time kidding around
Happy Children’s Day!!!
