First Prize in Nature Fest Waste to Wonder Competition

Woodlanders once again demonstrated their prowess by clinching the Top Prize at the Nature Fest, among all the top schools of Hoshiarpur. The event is orchestrated by the Hoshiarpur District Administration in partnership with the Punjab Culture and Tourism Department from 1st March to 5th March. The focal point of the fest was “Waste to Wonder” and Woodlanders showcased their innovative methods of transforming school-generated waste into remarkable creations. Their presentation confidently illustrated various avenues such as art and craft, composting, STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) implementation, and rainwater harvesting, among others, through which waste is ingeniously repurposed into marvels of sustainability and resourcefulness.
